Some safety risks of lone working are well documented in the rail industry, especially in the context of exposure to work-related violence. But up until now, the industry had very limited guidance on how to manage wider lone working safety risks, including the impact of lone working on health and wellbeing. T1213 - Understanding the health, safety and wellbeing risks and impacts of lone working to rail staff – was developed to define and understand lone working in light of the specificities of the rail industry and to create practical resources that truly help you keep lone workers safe.
