Train Operations is one of the 12 priority risk areas for industry collaboration in the Leading Health and Safety on Britain’s Railways (LHSBR) Strategy. To deliver this, TARG brings the Industry together to improve knowledge, understanding and risk management in the areas of SPAD management, train protection systems, over-speeding, safety critical communications as well as improving how we work in a devolved industry structure with OPSRAMs and TOSG’s.

This webinar provides an insight on:

- Use of the Ten Incident Factors to help us learn from underlying causes contributing to past incidents
- What is being done to reduce SPAD risk and what tools and resources are available to manage this
- How the RAATS Toolkit can be used to give improve understanding of context of SPADs to target intervention measures more effectively
