Following the resounding success of our recent roadshows and workshops, we’re thrilled to announce a series of Consultation Group events designed to foster dialogue, gather insights, and shape the future of the rail industry together.

Held once every quarter, the sessions will rotate from online to face-to-face on an alternate basis.

• The rules were updated to V5 in December 2024. Nick will explain why the investigation recommendations identified the need to strengthen and simplify the Sentinel Scheme Rules. He will provide an update on incorporated industry requested improvements, including candidate pre-checks, competency checking and clearer process timescales. • Attendees will understand why the updated rules are simpler, better and more efficient for managing safety critical competencies, track access, and improves mechanisms for fatigue management.
